Nomura final round offers
Hey everyone, I recently attended final rounds with Nomura Ops and still haven't heard back from them. They told me I'd find out the day of or the next day, but it's been two days already and was wondering if anyone else who interviewed within them for ops has heard back yet. Thanks everyone!
You most likely got wait listed. They usually give out offers and rejections very soon, and then wait list the rest. You're best bet is to e-mail/call them and confirm your interest again in working for Nomura; if you have any improvements you would like to cite (i.e. note to them an increase in GPA or whatnot), now is also your chance.

If they said a few days and have not gotten back, I bet it means nothing ... just be patient
I got the offer 2-3h after the AC. This was for IBD though. Seems like you've been wait-listed.

All my interviewers from first and second round were from Lehman, did you get interviewed by people from Lehman for your final round? I'd really appreciate any tips you might have! Thanks!

How long did they get back to you for the final round invitation? Did you apply for FT or SA? I applied for SA HK IBD and gone thru the 1st round phone interview about 2 weeks ago. And till today I still got no news from them!
Have you gone thru the final round? If yes, do u mind sharing some info or insights about the final round? Have they offered to you yet?

I heard some people that interviewed for FT last Thursday got e-mails yesterday. Anyone else get an e-mail? I haven't received a call or e-mail from them yet. AGGHHH.

Have you heard back from Nomura? I just had my first and second phone interviews in 3 days for Global Markets. I thought there should only be 2 rounds of interviews according to their website, but it seems like you had 3?

I think the number of rounds varies from time to time..I only had 1 phone interview for morgan stanley and got into final round straight. My friend didn't have any phone interviews and got into final round straight. Nomura didn't work out for me.

I've graduated in Dec 2009 from MFE and have been looking for jobs since then. I've been interviewing for Equities and had 2 phone interviews last week (1st on Tue and 2nd on Thur), hopefully I'll hear from them soon.
When will be a good time to call/email to check for status?
Oh..graduation in December.....which school did you go to? My bf just graduated from MFE at Haas.
My interviews with Nomura were weeks apart from each other...but since your first and second interviews were so close to each other, it's probably a good idea to check back if you don't hear back in a week.
When you say "Equities" do you mean trading?
