Operations at a Credit Rating Agency

Been looking around this forum, and found some posts about working as a ratings analyst at a credit rating agency, and other posts about working in operations at a bank, but none that mixed the two and discussed working in operations at a credit rating agency.

Probably a bit niche, but interested in hearing people's first-hand experiences as to what it is like. Feel free to chime in if you have worked as a non-ratings analyst at a CRA, even if not in an ops role.

Some specific questions: Do the general comments about working at a CRA apply when you are not a ratings analyst? How is CRA ops viewed both within CRAs and on the street?
