Putting a Job Shadow experience on a resume (GCM Grosvenor)

Wasn't sure what forum to post this in as GCM is a FoF. Anyways, I was recently just accepted into a one day program at GCM Grosvenor(Investment Management Job Shadow). I was wondering of it is generally accepted to put such a program on a resume. I would be putting it to simply show that I am interested in IB/corporate fin in general. To put things into perspective I am currently a sophomore with no finance job experience, not including organizations at university. I have done some searching for posts similar to mine, but they are all very old and i'm looking for more up to day opinions. So would this be an ok program to list under an "experiences" or "professional development" section? Also I'm struggling on trying to find a lot of info on the firm itself, their main site isn't all that informing. Can anyone shed some light on their investment management division?
