Ryan Kavanaugh. College drop out Multimillionaire, hollywood power player. All by age 36

For those who don't recognize the name immediately, Kavanaugh is a Hollywood big shot, running Relativity Media. Financing films such as Social Network, Limitless, Immortals.

Now I've always been fascinated with Kavanaugh, he dropped out of college, started a venture Capital firm at age 24, the firm went bust during the dot com bubble. Then he started his media company. After doing some internet research on him- Elliot Associates have ditched him, the COO left the company. It seems something is going astray.

Does anyone know anything about Ryan Kavanaugh to add, or do you think he might be a fraud?

Its amazing someone can accomplish so much so young. I have trouble comprehending how a 20 year old (with no degree) can convince Wall Street hedge funds, and wealthy individuals to lend money. Do you think Kavanaugh is an example of talent and hard work, or did he just get lucky with rich parents?

Food for thought. Look him up for yourself if you haven't already, his story almost seems too good to be true.

Nothing impressive here.

After receiving his helicopter pilot license in 2009, citizens of West Hollywood complained about Kavanaugh's daily flights to the emergency-only helipad on the Sofitel Hotel.13
