Trade Credit Insurance to buy side research or PM
Hey guys. So theres an opportunity for me to intern and do some rotation at Euler Hermies (trade credit insurance) and hopefully impress them enough to land a full time position. My aim is to eventually move from there into equity research at an Asset Management firm. What would be the best departments to work in at Euler Hermies that would give me some transferrables or relevant experience to make this move happen?
Obviously while at Euler Hermies I would take the IMC and then at least level 1 of the CFA.
What do you guys think?
Credit insurance and Asset Management aren't particularly transferable skills, so if that's your goal then I would look for smaller asset management firms first.
