Trapped Post Grad

Hi everyone I am feeling trapped and I wanted to reach out for opinions and next steps..

about me:

I am new to this message board. I didn't know I was interested in capital markets / researching for mis-interpreted events until late in uni. By that time, I found it hard to get a job with my old resume and my biz school did not offer help and it isn't well known for IB or finance.

I have been done with school for two years. Decent grades but not top of the class. I have been managing a small portfolio for my family (2m) with focus only biotech / med device investments, while also working in retail banking (teller, now sales in WM). I maintain a Seeking Alpha Profile with a friend. We have 1k followers, and a 87% rate of success. I'm more of a medium term investor and trade about twice per month or when emergent. During the past 2 years my parent's portfolio has returned 273%. I am not sure how to put this all into a resume.

I am also worried that my technical skills are not that good. My investment theses are always based on the science behind candidate drugs, and commercial opportunity. Most of my valuations are by rNPV analyses vs carving market share from competitors and sales ramps, not exactly accurate but i exercise caution in assumptions, and try not make sure my numbers are conservative.

I'm not sure where I'd fit in capital markets. But I've been called a good analyst for turning bearish on past bullish picks, not defending equities when it isn't justified, etc.

Where do I get my foot through the door? Is there hope for me to score a summer analyst job? Where do I begin? I am also currently studying for my lvl 1 CFA. The SeekingAlpha hedge fund analyst program said I don't qualify even though I insisted and asked for an exception.

I wasn't really sure where to post this
