What is Corporate Planning and Analysis? Is this a ideal group to begin a career in versus M&A or a pure financial analyst role?

CP&A is the same as FP&A just another name...so basically this is a more traditional financial analyst role in the corporate world...you work on budget, forecast, target setting, etc. Not very sexy...M&A is a better bet depending on what you want to do.
