Working in a Tech Firm

Hi All

As a new joiner with a listed technology firm (in the digital infrastructure space), i've had difficulties understanding the various terms (on any topics such as AI, Blockchain, Cloud, Cybersecurity, IoT, Network) used by the sales/products team. I thought it would be good to start a thread on such matters, feel free to share good learning platforms or materials for fellow WSOers :)

  • Coursera, Pluralsight, CBT Nuggets, Skillsoft or Udemy

(I'm still new to WSO so i cannot post any links here)

As a person previously unfamiliar with these terms, these sites (together with the in-house resources) have been useful for me to get up to speed for my corporate development role. The technical specifications are good to know when i build my business case and presentation.

I'm lucky to have paid access for some of the above as my organisation encourages independent learning a lot so you might have to try out on your own for those with free access
