Accounting / Finance topics for PE

Moving to MFPE from BB coverage team in the summer and looking for advice on good courses to take for someone transitioning to buyside.

Studied engineering in undergrad, took a few finance classes & just intro financial accounting. Do you suggest taking higher level accounting classes or will 2 yrs banking level accounting suffice?

Accounting can be helpful, but when doing a deal, PE firms generally hire a Big 4 or whatever to do a QoE from what I have seen. Those firms bring in accountants. If you have any accounting questions you could just ask them. Best wishes
