Advice for an incoming PE intern?

I just graduated and am about to start a 6 month internship at a small PE firm in SF. I dont have previous IB or PE experience. How can I make the most of it and get hired full time? Forgive me if there are already threads about this same question. Thanks.

It's better to ask for extra time to do something right than to rush and give your superiors shitty work product. The latter causes more time to be wasted fixing it than if you'd just taken longer to do properly it the first time.
