AlpInvest Primaries - Experience and Exit Ops

I’m 25 years old and have spent the past few years advising LPs on private equity investments at a large firm (Mercer/Hamilton Lane/Cambridge). I’m considering a position on AlpInvest’s Primaries team and am curious how it’s viewed in the market, culture/WLB, and most importantly exit opps as it’s a 2 year program. I would have no co-investment exposure in this role, and I’m worried exit opps will be limited. Ideally I’d exit to a small GP, co-investment fund, or a fund that does both primaries and co-investments. If anyone can provide an informed and honest viewpoint here that’d be great!
