Alts Private Equity to Traditional LO Asset Management?

I’m trying to see what the feasible option could be for this? If someone were to work as an analyst at an alternative asset PE fund investing via Primary and Co-Investment strategies, could an exit opp into a traditional LO asset management (RBC AM, William Blair AM, GS AM…) be something thats possible? Or would a more realistic transition be to another PE shop?
