Analyst – Private Debt – NYC

Large and highly respected investment management firm, with CLO, distressed, and private debt platforms, seeks an analyst for their 10-person private debt team, within a $20B+ AUM organization.  The team is expanding given strong volume, and the analyst will be one of two, with responsibilities ranging to include originations, fundraising, underwriting and investor relations; this is a rare opportunity for a junior banker to be involved in all aspects of the buyside. The role, and team, crosses industries, and the capital stack, including senior and mezzanine structures.  The best candidates will have strong educational and experiential credentials, ideally including familiarity with structures across the capital stack, and should have 1-3 years of experience with credit; it is not necessary for the candidate to have worked outside of senior debt, and those with credit experience at a middle-market bank, rating agency, or other lender will be strongly considered. Top written and oral communications skills are essential, as is a team-oriented demeanor, the ability to work independently, and a positive, can-do attitude. Please send resumes (cover letter not required) to [email protected], and thanks for viewing my posting.
