Anyone heard of AVALT

Does anyone have info on AVALT? Seems to be a Boston-based MM shop with strong Bain Cap and Bain & Co. roots. Any idea on comp, wlb, etc?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, AVALT is indeed a Boston-based fund started by former Bain Capital partners. It's known for its consulting-style cases with some finance concepts. As for compensation, I don't have the most recent figures, but it's always a good idea to do some research or reach out to people in the industry for the most accurate information.

As for work-life balance, that's a bit harder to pin down without specific insights. However, in the world of private equity, it's generally understood that the hours can be long and the work can be intense. But remember, every firm has its own culture and approach, so it's always best to try and get a sense of that through networking or informational interviews.

Remember, the best monkey is a prepared monkey! Keep asking questions and seeking out information. You're on the right track!
