Apollo or McKinsey out of undergrad?
I'm a junior and I have the opportunity to interview for both within the next few months. The prep is vastly different so I am trying to figure out which to prioritize/which is best long term.
So I don’t know if you’ll get that much responsibility as an analyst at Apollo is what I’ve heard while McKinsey has much more developed training and development programs
Is this Apollo real estate debt?

Comp: Apollo clear winner
WLB/firm culture: McKinsey clear winner
Exits: McKinsey more varied (industry leadership, buyside, etc.). Apollo usually is the exit for people on this site
Experience: Do you like financial analysis more or general strategy?
Client exposure: Much more exposure early on at McKinsey
MBA opportunity: Probably a slight edge for Apollo but both will get you to HBS/GSB
theres no clear answer here. Depends on what you like and what your willingness to grind is for extra pay
This is not a real post so not sure what's the point? Apollo does not hire for anything out of undergrad outside of re credit. And McKinsey has handed out most offers anyway
