Associate Comp Bump for Sourcing Deal?

I sourced a deal which my firm eventually invested in. It wasn't massive ($10-20mm), and our average check size is probably more in the $20-100mm range, so it's just a small win. However everyone really liked the investment because we got it at a great price with high return expectations.

Does anyone on here have thoughts regarding what extra comp one might see for this? Anyone have any personal experiences sourcing a closed deal as an associate or analyst and seeing a comp impact?

Before anyone comments on carry, that is unfortunately completely out of the question at my firm for associates, so I can't ask for carry related to the deal in particular. It's a large institutional firm where negotiating compensation gets you nowhere at the associate level anyway.

Base + bonus comp is c. $300k-350k before this for context. Not sure if I should expect a comp bump this year or nah.

Would it just get lumped as an extra postiive note on your annual review, resulting in a higher bonus that way? May not get broken out as a separate "tack on" bonus but should help you on your regular bonus I'd imagine.

I should update my profile, but I'm actually a third year associate, about to be promoted to VP. I got $275 all in last year and received a $25k bump to salary. So I'm just taking a swag on the range expected this year. I also receive no carry.

We have $6bn invested across equity, debt, and real estate. Equity is probably about $1bn. It's all a global strategy, but I focus on US equity transactions.
