Just wondering if anyone has any intel on what the comp is like in the Private Equity /Principal Investment Arm of a BB (think MS PE, GS PIA, DLJ etc etc). I understand that they are known to pay below the standalone buyout shops but would anyone have any info on how they stack up vs their investment banking counterparts at a junior level (senior analyst/jnr associate)?
