Best Foundational Work Experience

Hey guys,

This topic has probably been covered before, but I’m wondering: what is the best foundation for young grads if we discount exit opps and just take into account acquired skillset?

Really curious, for example, about the difference between IB, MBB (strategy), restructuring banking, and restructuring consulting. Curious if people think there is any benefit to understanding the downside risk and if these restructuring roles offer a different perspective, or if it is better to try and position oneself at a more traditional role.

Thanks in advance for any responses and if this is a topic that has been covered, any redirection would be appreciated.
