Ahh Guggenheim. Just pick a cheap laptop that has a decent screen and good physicial functionality. Citrix doesn't actually use the memory or CPU on your computer - it's relaying it to their servers. So it actually doesn't matter what the specs of your computer are.
But also agree - ridiculous that a firm doesn't provide and would look elsewhere if you have the chance... just on principle.
Don’t get you feelings hurt
It's not a real firm if they can't provide a laptop. You're about to get worked like a dog, with less than zero upside.

Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga worked well for me.
HP Probooks are decent too, I think they're less expensive than the ThinkPad
