Big 3 Rx Consulting ---> MF PE Turnarounds/PE Distressed Investing for Full-Time?

Hi all,

I'm a junior interning this summer at a big 3 RX Consulting firm (A&M, Alix, FTI) and was wondering what kind of potential full-time opportunities will be available, specifically in the PE Distressed and/or PE Turnarounds space. The difference to me between the two is that one is an investing role while the other would be focused on operational turnarounds of PE-backed companies.

I'm obviously very happy with the offer I have at hand, but I think it would be foolish to not explore my options and see what other opportunities I can potentially get for full-time.

Does anyone have any experience, advice or recommendations on how to go about this? I'm assuming both could be potentially viable options, especially if I have prior PE experience. But I'm also aware that most PE firms (investing side or operational) aren't looking to hire analysts out undergrad. Thank you!
