Big4 M&A consulting to MM PE in London

Hi all,

I am currently working in a London big4 deals consulting team focusing on buyside operational / carve out due diligence, value creation and carve out execution and looking to make a transition to UMM PE funds in London

I have been reached out by some HHs for smaller funds jobs and wonder if I should consider opportunities for smaller cap funds? Would it be easy to make transition from smaller cap to UMM in the future?

Also would appreciate if anyone could provide a few examples of London MM/UMM funds that recruits non-MBB consultants / people from big 4 backgrounds OR funds that often do carve outs deals.

Thank you all in advance.

Frankie
