Blackstone math test (2025 London PE Off-Cycle)

Hiya. I got an email from BX today asking me to finish a pymetrics online interview (already done) and a math test. I’ve already finished one pymetrics live interview and HR call, so it’s a bit odd that I’m getting this math test invitation now. They say it’s a GMAT based test that’ll be taken in groups, online with camera on. Has anyone ever taken this test? How was it?

Is it safe to practice official GMAT questions? I’m taking the test on Friday so really not much time left to prepare. If anyone could please share any insights I’d be thankful.

Did the same test for summers, done my GMAT since then and scored well. The questions that came up were def towards the upper end of difficulty of GMAT / were more finance focused but applying the same principles

Do you think it’s a guaranteed first round interview after this

That’s great bro thanks. Do you remember how many questions it was? They say it’s 30 minutes so with GMAT standards it should be 15, no? I’ll go to official guide questions for practice bc they were most similar to my actual GMAT test.

I’ve heard that the teams at BX hand pick candidates for this step. And some placements get determined from here. So.. I’m assuming that anyone with a high score gets to the next step.

I did it on Friday and just received a rejection this morning. Though I should say I low key fucked up the interview and left 2 questions unsolved on the test

Hey! Do they interview everyone who does the test or how does it work? Just curious, as you said you got rejected after the test, but also did the interview. Thanks in advance!

Did you have a first round with the PC team? When was it if you don't mind me asking?
