Board representation and work?
haven't sat on a board yet but looking at some lateral opportunities and they're looking for people who've had experience acting as board members or having some kind of representation. for the interview, what are they explicitly looking for as for the skillset and experience?
leraning to provide guidance to management teams, steer direction of the firm, opine and reason as each strategic step the company makes... what else? looking for some guidance here and how to prep. thanks all

and to add, differences between shareholder meetings vs board meetings? definitely less in numbers, but typically large shareholder would get to elect one or two people to be on the board, but curious about things that are to be discussed
