What PE firms lean heavily on buy and build / serial acquisition strategies, preferably based in NYC. More well know one are Shore Capital (Chicago), Alpine, Audax (Boston), GTCR (Chicago), Garnett Station, Tenex.
Appreciate the Buy and build is used most places but curious what other firms focus heavily here.
