BYOD - Phone Policy
Thought this was probably a good point to bring up for folks that bring their own device to work (especially when companies do not provide work phones).
For people that are curious, employers can see pretty much everything you do if you are on company WiFi or if they have device management on.
However, if you only have email/calendar synced via the Apple Mail app AND the company does not have Device Management on AND you are not on company WiFi BUT they have communicated that they can somehow wipe your phone - CAN employers still see activity (internet and otherwise), app usage, data usage on a personal phone?
Appreciate any insights. Of course, it's best practice to assume so, but technically can they? May be relevant to those WFH and browsing sites like WSO during downtime!
What kind of midget porn are you looking at in the office my guy?
Lol they can’t look at your personal data if you’re off a corporate network on a personal phone. The whole point of device management is to safeguard corporate data but also segregate it such that if you’re subpoenaed, you have the corporate data easily accessible and the personal data stays separate
