Can I round 3.75 GPA to 3.8 for on cycle resume?
Basically what the title says. That said, if I have a very high major GPA (e.g., 3.95+), would it be more advantageous to list both my cumulative GPA (3.75) and my major GPA (3.95+), rather than rounding the major GPA to one decimal point and including the 3.8? Rounding to 4.0 feels misleading, but listing 3.9 undersells it slightly.
Thanks!
Appreciate it. Does this still apply for mega fund on cycle recruiting? This is assuming a top group at an EB.

Aligned with above. Just go 3.8 and skip major GPA. I always assume the latter is some heavily pro forma figure lol.
Thanks for the insights. Another question, will HHs ding you for rounding?

Depends on if the 3.75 is really 3.75xxxx or 3.74xxxx. If the latter, definitely shouldn't round up
Even if it were to be 3.745?
Does that number round to 3.7 or 3.8? This shouldn't be a debate lmao
