Career in PCA: GP-Led or LP-Led?

For context, I'm an incoming sa27 at a top PCA bank in their LP-Led team.

After accepting my offer, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about my career within the rapidly growing secondaries market. While I'm very happy with my offer, I'm contemplating if a career in GP-Led PCA is more intellectually interesting and will provide me with more optionality in the future.

I'm currently leaning towards a career in GP-Leds, where I can build modeling skills early in my career, compared to the LP-Led seat where I've heard is mostly process-oriented.

I understand that thinking about leaving the team before I even hit the desk seems obnoxious, but I feel like I should be thinking about this if I decide to re-recruit for FT to a GP-led seat.

If I wanted to lateral to a GP-Led PCA seat, would it be better for me to try and transfer internally within my current firm? Is it better to lateral to other shops for FT? I'm also concerned about my team finding out that I'm shopping around different firms since Secondaries/PCA is a small world. Would appreciate your perspectives.
