Great place / comp but still sweaty as balls. Extremely intense culture, need to have thick skin. All distressed type of work

Currently working with them on a deal. They seem like a very intense shop compared to other PE guys that we've worked with but they definitely seemed well regarded in the industry
What exactly do you mean by intense? I've heard this but I have no idea what it actually means...
I was a summer analyst in 2016. Did not work with REPE.
It is true: you will work very hard with some very smart people as a small cog in a big machine that has a great reputation in high finance. While I did not work as intensely as I have as an IB analyst, the standard of work was consistently higher.
