Comp Check for MM PE
Hi recently got an associate offer for a recently established MM PE shop with latest fund being $600M. Wanted to get a sense of whether comp is market. They are offering $200K cash base, no bonus, and $500K carry DAW
NO bonus? To say that seems odd is putting it lightly... any reason given? Other benefits? The $500k carry DAW sounds nice but fwiw that's basically funny money if this is a brand new fund and this is a fresh ASO offer, that'll take years to become meaningful and years more before it's something you can consider "yours".
