Obviously it’s BO, and it’s difficult to move to FO or at least out the gate. However I will say that compliance is some of the chillest work there is in all of finance. If it’s remote think 10-12 hours of real work per week. Pay per hour with this in mind is far better than most would consider. Job security is high but you might get bored as the progression is more drawn out and the work is pretty lame in my opinion. Risk management is an obvious jump from compliance and offers may make analytical work without being too boring and pigeonholed.
