Contacting a senior who opened a new office in my city?
Hi all,
I’m currently an Associate in PE and recently heard that an established PE house I’m very interested in has opened a new office in my city. They’ve appointed a senior person to lead the new office, which got me thinking about whether it would be appropriate to reach out to him directly and potentially share my CV.
I believe I have a strong profile for the firm, but I’m not sure what the best approach would be. Would you recommend reaching out via LinkedIn or email? And how would you suggest positioning the message so that it feels natural and not overly transactional?
Would be great to hear your thoughts on the best way to approach this.
