Credit Investment Memo - Example

Hi All,

Currently recruiting for a direct lending shop in London and looking to prepare for my upcoming case study interview. I ak hence looking for examples of good credit memos. I

I have tried to go through the forum to see if there are any examples posted in the past. Haven't had any luck. Would appreciate if anyone can share some examples with me or point me in the right direction.

Generally most are often done at decks, with like a ~100 slides being ic. If you’re doing a word memo, I would say 8-10 pages sounds right and include:

1. Terms and transaction background

2. S&U and cap table

3. Business overview

4. industry overview

5. management overview (can be part of the business

6. financial overview (include historical financial + model)

7. What you like and dislike ab investment (can also move this upfront as well)
