CVC Client & Product Solutions: Top-Tier IR Role or Fundraising Grind

Hi all,

Does anyone have any insight into CVC’s Client & Product Solutions team in London?

Trying to get a better sense of what the role is actually like. The title seems quite broad, so keen to understand whether it is more fundraising / LP coverage, product specialist work, IR, DDQs / RFPs, reporting or general project management.

Main things I’m interested in:

  1. What does the day-to-day work actually look like?
  2. How is the team split internally?
  3. What are the hours like in normal periods vs during fundraising?
  4. What does comp look like at Analyst / Associate / Senior Associate / VP level?
  5. Is there any carry or co-invest, or is it mainly base + bonus?
  6. How commercial is the role? Are you close to LPs and senior fundraising, or more in an execution / support seat?
  7. How much travel is involved?
  8. What backgrounds do they usually hire from?
  9. Which recruiters tend to cover the team?
  10. What is the interview process like?
  11. How is the team viewed internally and in the broader private capital market?
  12. What are the exits like?

Any colour from people who know the team, have interviewed there or have worked with them would be really helpful.

Thanks.
