Day in the Life Of in PE

Hello WSO

Any PE folks able to do a day in the life of?  I keep hearing about Private Equity, but very interested what a day in the life of is like.

For context - Late 30s, originally going into tech but feared age discrimination will happen, so looking into Accounting to break in(?) if at all possible.

I know the VC area because my bosses are all former VCs in biopharm (oddly enough), and have restructured our division to make it more industry standard with the focus of possibly being in a good position to be bought out by a bigger pharm company.

Thanks.  What I've learned is that the Accounting portion is far more applicable to what my boss looks at day to day, so its helpful so far with the jargon and discussions we have on clinical trials.
