Does anyone here work in PE in-house accounting operations?
Appreciate it's an unloved area of finance compared to front office which everyone here discusses. But does operations get any focus at all here?
It would be great if anyone here has any experiences or tips for working in Private Equity in-house accounting - I am starting a role at a large PE soon.
Or from the perspective of anyone in front office, what are the percieved pain points or value add in terms of back office finance support?
Very happy to share my thoughts when I start if anyone is interested.
