M&A A2 in London. Exiting to the buyside in Dubai has always been my dream. Hiring processes seem to still be running. What’s is happening to PE firms in the region? Is this an end to Dubai PE opportunities as we know it?

There’s a lot of dry powder
Don’t bother. Processes are getting cancelled left, right, and center. Always has been considered a lower tier opportunity set and the current situation affirms that. Stick to NYC / LDN. PE is especially cooked since most people are now WFH.
Can confirm that once process I was a part of is no longer going ahead. Avoid these opportunities. They’ll either cancel or reject you on the basis of some BS.
