Energy & Infra PE & IM - London

Hi all,

Looking for my next move and was hoping to move from a renewables investment manager to infra PE. The attraction being 1. Broader mandates (all infra rather than only renewables) and 2. The private equity compensation.

Im surprised to find that I am getting offers from renewables funds for £80k+ compared with an Infra PE house that just offered £65k. Even more surprising is that bonus at the PE analyst level was 20%.

Does anyone know if it is that this PE shop is just really off market?

I am starting to wonder whether I just move into private equity when I am more senior and stick to the renewables plays for now.

Appreciate any advice
