ESG Summer Analyst at PE MF vs Big 4 Audit

Hey guys, fairly new to the world of finance and wanted your opinions on which internship offer to take up.

My goal after graduation would be to break into investment banking. Currently a junior at a non-target/semi-target with a technical major and high GPA.

I know its going to be a long shot, but which experience would I-banks look at most favourably after graduation - An ESG summer analyst role at a top fund (BX, KKR, APO), or an audit internship at a Big4. I have no real previous experience with finance, but do have past consulting experience.

Assuming you got BX ESG team. I’d continue to re recruit. That role is kinda bs imo and the exit ops aren’t there even though its MF name.
