Family Office - $100m - What Do You Do?

I think this is a fun question. I like to post it once in a while.

Assume you just made $100m selling incredible technology that makes fake grill marks on hamburgers. Now you need to allocate the proceeds but you're ONLY allowed to invest in privately held businesses!

You are allowed to do it in any way you want. Equity, credit, a mix of both. You can do straight up vanilla buyouts, or VC, etc.

What is your strategy? What kind of team are you building?
