Family office experience

Talking to a large family office (~$5bn) that does a combination of direct buyouts on their own and co-investments with GPs they are invested in. Super lean team — maybe 4 IPs total (group head, 1 principal/VP level, 2 associates) on the direct side (more people working for the FO broadly). Anyone have any sense on the relative attractiveness of a role like this and what to expect from a comp perspective?
