FIG Banking to Tech/Consumer PE & GE

Is it possible to go from FIG banking to a consumer or tech focused PE or GE fund? I know that FIG limits your opportunities for generalist funds, but it is not impossible. But has anyone seen a FIG banker go to a specialized tech/consumer fund like L Catterton, Sycamore, Thoma Bravo, TCV etc?

How hard would it be to get HH's to get you in touch with these specialized funds coming out of a mid to top tier BB FIG group (MS,BAML,Barcap)?
