Firms and Comp in portfolio operations

Had a question for y'all that are in the know. I currently work on the investment team at my shop, and am happy here, but I do miss a lot of the portfolio operations work that I got to do when I was an MBB consultant.

I'm planning on attending business school in a couple years, and considering switching over to portfolio operations afterwards, assuming that they didn't have a spot for me when I return. I wanted to see if y'all had info on the following:

  •  Which funds have portfolio operations groups?
  •  What would the post-MBA title be, assuming the stint in both PE and MBB?
  •  What would you assume all in comp would be, including base, bonus, and carry (if that's applicable)?
  •  What is the WLB like?
  •  Do they even hire for post-MBA grads?
  •  Are there any questions I should be asking?

Thanks! -KHC
