For those of us yet to be called...

So clearly 2012 PE recruiting is underway, and many have already participated in interviews with the big funds and some have even received offers. I'm pretty sure there's still a very large number of analysts (at least there are at my BB) who have yet to schedule their first interview (myself included).

Is there anything we can be doing at this point to get on everyone's radars? I feel like this happens every year and that firms interview in waves, but I'm hoping someone can confirm this and perhaps shed some optimism.
