Hi,

Speaking on behalf of a couple of friends who have worked/ currently working at GA, but generally the experience is largely dependent on which group you're placed in. Obviously, I have not worked at GA so please take my comments with a grain of salt.

The GA consumer team is awesome: have excellent deal flow and deal access. Strong mentorship culture within the group with junior people really loving the role.

Other GA groups have a tremendously different culture with less glowing comments. Very sweaty, and less patient with junior development. One mistake and you're out.

In terms of investment strategy, generally similar across the board. They largely compete on brand name with strong portfolio synergies in investments. Great value creation engine.

I've heard that GA has a pretty low return offer rate, so keep that in mind for a summer role: grind is very much required and expected.

all the best!
