Ghosted by Dynamic Search Partners

Hi all- I had an intro call with Dynamic Search Partners last week of November after they sent me a bunch of emails on upcoming opportunities.

On the call I mentioned 2 jobs I was interested in and they said they’d follow up with me. I thought the call had gone well.

Then they just ghosted me. It’s been a couple of weeks and I’ve heard nothing. Has anyone else had this experience with them or is it just me?

I'm not sure what level you're recruiting for (I can only really speak to Senior Associate+) but it could be that those firms changed their hiring needs. I have gotten ghosted by a few firms who decided, after putting out a full search, that given market conditions, they didn't want to hire. Anyways, I think it's worth a note to DSP asking them if they have any updates and if they have a few mins to discuss live. It'll give you full clarity

My guess is that DSP may have sent your resume along but the client firm might have passed on you. Always good to follow up after a reasonable amount of time, but trust me if they are positive you have a shot on goal, they will for sure reach out and call you like every other day with updates once you’re in the process. You shouldn’t take interactions with headhunters to heart.

I started ghosting DSP - they're v unconsistent.

TBH don't think they actually have the mandates and just try to collect CVs so they can blast them over to companies, in the hope someone bites.
