Going to PE without Modeling

I am in a group and we don’t model at all. All we do is make charts. How has the transition been for people with a similar experience been transferring to the buyside? Were you left behind? Anything I can do now? Thinking I just keep doing practice LBOs and try to make them more complicated myself. Maybe even DCFs too? Not sure if DCFs are even useful on the buyside tho. Any help input would be useful
