GPA on Resume?
I'm recruiting for PE (several months out of undergrad from a lower level target / semi target school) and have a relatively low GPA (think 3.0-3.3). Do I need to list my GPA on my resume?

I have a 3.1 GPA and have gone through many interviews. From personal experience, it is best to leave it off. Once you get through a phone screen GPA tends not to come up so I wouldn't worry about it. But when they ask me on the phone I tend to be dinged immediately. Funny enough, its usually the firms that tend not to be very prestigious themselves that will ding me for the low GPA while the larger more reputable firms never ask me about it and are more interested in ability, experience, and fit. Good luck!

MIT isn’t an Ivy school . Cornell isn’t grade deflated although it is graded on a bell curve that at least resembles a semitarget. Although Cornell might debatably be a semi target for IB/PE.
As someone who went to Cornell I can tell you that both of those statements are false...
