Has anyone gone LMM to UMM?

Has anyone here at a more mid-to-senior level gone from lower middle market to upper middle market? Rather than try hard to define what those things mean as that can be an all day discussion, just in general think about going to do deals 3-4x in TEV what you've had experience with. For me that means $150-350mm TEV on average to $800m-$1.5bn.

Would love to hear the experience of people who had done this transition and what they thought. Curious about the pros/cons, challenges, what they wish they knew, etc. Was it worth the switch? Would you do it again?

Thank you.
