Have you worked with inventory liquidators?
One of our portfolio companies, a consumer based company, is down and we're at risk of not meeting debt covenants. We have excess inventory, and we'd like to liquidate it, but our team has never been down that path before.
Want to understand if anyone of you have worked with inventory liquidators before, and what we should expect if we ask them to help us get rid of inventory? E.g., how much of a discount do they expect, how fast can they move, who are the big names (and are they industry specific), etc.?
Thanks!
