HF's from a BB regional office?

Hey all,

I was hoping to get some advice on how the recruiting game works for HF's for analysts at regional offices of BB's? I'm a first year in a top group at GS/MS/JPM, but am in a somewhat unappealing geographic area in terms of finance (albeit a great place for just about everything else).

I was wondering what the timeline was for HF's (and MM PE too I guess) and any other pertinent information on buyside recruitment with respect to all of us non-NY folks.

Also I'd greatly appreciate any PM's too, if anyone wants to know more of my bank/group specific details to get the full picture of where I'm at in in my career.

Thanks in advance, its greatly appreciated!

houston/chicago/sf, on par with nyc, although more limited in terms of industry/geographic focus.

Good to know, any chance you know more about the timeline and headhunters for recruiting? (I know HF recruiting is much less structured than for megafunds and large PE shops)

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
